Commissioned by a daughter seeking to commemorate Rose; her Haiti-born mother. Her birth and passing occurred under a crescent moon sky. The sculpture size and proportions are derived from the numbers of Rose's birth and passing dates. The title translates to moon of roses in Creole. It is a place that the daughter can adorn with roses anytime she wishes to connect with her mother.
